I found your blog from Lynda's blog. I have r...Hey! I found your blog from Lynda's blog. I have read mixed things on feeding solids also. For the most part I got the impression that solids are mainly for the experience of learning to feel foods in the mouth and experience tastes. I haven't fed Elijah cereal yet (Mae's fed Brooklyn it though)but he sleeps from about 830 to 6am so I don't need him to sleep at night (bummer Madden's not doing that). Maybe I'm holding on to my baby but he's only slightly interested in food when we're eating. He is a porker though..about 17 pounds! I figured a couple weeks I'll try rice get it thicker then do oatmeal and try the rest at 6 months..at least that's the plan now.
