Here are some great photos taken by Tammy Chisolm Photography! She is awesome!!!

Let's not forget about Cal mom....

I feel bad I have been talking a lot about Madden and haven't mentioned much about my first baby! Well, OK so he's not a baby anymore but, he will always be my 1st baby! He's 6 now and in the 1st grade. He loves it! He is quite the social butterfly (gosh wonder where he gets that from :p ) He just had an event at school the other day called Nation Celebration where we celebrate the diversity within the school and embrace it! Everyone brings a dish to pass and dresses to represent their heritage. It is always a good time and lots of yummy food! We get there and boom he is gone, off socializing with all his little friends! Too cute. He kept saying mom I have to go say hi to my teachers, mom I see Heather I have to say hi.....etc. I guess I am glad he isn't shy. It is so cute to watch him interact with all his friends. Kids are too cute! McCallister decided to dress for his Irish heritage and Gramma made some Shepherds Pie for the event. (Which was a big hit by the way!) Even little brother Madden got in the spirit wearing a little Irish ensemble! I will post some pics!

Cal also started flag football this year and he is doing great! I am so proud of him. Every week he gets better and better! He got a flag his last two games and he was so excited about that! I have to admit, it's fun to see your little guy out there! I get quite excited myself, especially when he gets a flag! It was so cute at the lst game after he got the flag he said " I got that for you momma!"
Well I think I "blogged" enough for today....off to do some house cleaning!!

Madden's 4 months!

So Madden had his 4 month check-up yesterday and, of course, with that came the yucky shots! I swear I don't remember my 6 year old getting that many, anyway, he was such a good boy for it all! I felt so bad bc he fell asleep in the car and was sleeping so peacefully when we entered the frigid cold room where I, unfortunately, had to wake him up : ( I felt so bad because not only did I have to wake him out of his cozy sleep but, I had to strip him down naked in the freezing cold doctors office room to get his weight! Fortunately, he woke up happy and stayed that way up until they stuck him 3 times. Poor little baby! It was so sad bc he was just smiling and cooing and blowing raspberries when out of no where (to him) he gets this horrible poke in his leg 3 times! He was probably thinking what the heck did I do to deserve that! All I was doing was being happy and smiling.
So Doc says he looks great! I am still solely nursing him and I started him on rice cereal about a week and a half ago bc he is a little pig and he just needed more food. He eats every 2-2.5 hours and I am sorry but these boobies need a rest. ha ha ha Seriously though, this kid has an appetite like his daddy! Which is why I was quite surprised when they weighed him and he only weighed 13 pounds 6 ounces which according to their little plot is only in the 25 %. I am not sure how much I believe those things bc my baby is no little baby anymore! He looks like a porker and everyone always says how big he looks but, who knows. He is healthy and that is all I care about!
The pediatrician said that I could start him on some stage one foods if I like but, I am kind of on the fence about that right now. I was reading on some different websites about when is the best time to start them and I am getting a mixed answer. Anyone care to give me their opinion on this situation???? I would love to hear it. I know with my first I breastfed him for 7 months and I didn't start solids until 6 months. (Which is what I was told to do back then) I guess they are always changing things.
Well I guess that is all for now! I am working on getting some more pictures on here! My site looks pretty pathetic compared to some of the others I know on here!
Ta ta for now!!

So Madden is 4 months old today!!! I can't believe how fast time is going. We have his 4 month check-up ( and shots : ( ) tomorrow. I am curious to see how big my sweet baby is. I started him on a little cereal because he is a little chunky monkey and wants more food. He loves it! He did very well with his first experience with the spoon. Unfortunately though, the whole myth of babies sleeping better when you give them some cereal to fill up their little tummies during the night..........uh yeah not so much! He still is a little booger when it comes to me getting some much needed sleep. He is still waking up multiple times during the night!!! Ugh I hope it ends soon.
McCallister is in 1st grade now and loving it! He is happy that his friends he made in kindergarten are in his class again this year. He has also met some new little buddies and is quite the little social butterfly! He is staying busy between his play dates with his friends and football 3 days a week, it's a wonder he has time for his mom to get a second to just cuddle with her baby! He is so funny now that he is 6 he thinks he is all grown up. I always tell him he is 6 going on 16 so if you ask him his age that is what he will tell ya!
Well it's getting late and I should have been to bed hours ago but, I turned into an Internet junkie lately. ha ha I will post some pics soon. Sorry I am still getting used to all this, all this blogging stuff is new to me.
I will talk to you all later.

Lots o' Love.......
